I'm in NYC tonight for biz. The day started early with a wake-up call at 3:30, a 4:00 "where's my binky" call, a 4:30 taxi, 6:00 flight and noon meeting. After the meeting we had the evening to ourselves so we caught a musical: In the Heights. It was fun and thankfully energetic enough to keep me awake after such a long day. Now I'm downloading images so that I can burn flash drives for an electronic press kit in time for tomorrow's meetings. Glamorous sounding, isn't it?
I remember taking my first business trip and how excited I was about it. Now, sometimes I travel so often that I don't know where I'm going when I check in at the airport. It will be nice to have an excuse not to travel after Nov 1. Nobody wants a really, really pregnant lady on a plane.
Baby girl has been good to me this trip. She's moving and kicking but isn't giving me too hard a time. I learned my lesson after last week's trip to San Fransisco and now switch to comfy shoes on the plane or any time I walk more than a few blocks. If my feet could talk, they'd thank me for sure.
Tomorrow I hope to find a great bagel on the way to our first meeting and a safe and on-time flight home. I miss my family.
