Today, Princess Violet & I had an adventure. We visited a bunch of stores looking at how they displayed product so that we could help Blu design his first storefront (aka Brick and Mortar to my web friends). We also had a little fun. We stopped for gelato and bought her Halloween/Birthday party costume: Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
When we stopped by a friend's house, Violet had to try on her dress and didn't want to take it off. So, we walked through downtown Lville with Violet if full princess attire -- crown included. There is now a thin layer of gold glitter everywhere I look. In the car, the house and on my clothes and probably in a few downtown stores as well.
(The real Belle for those of you not in the know.)
When we got home, the princess was a little tired, so she sat down and watched her favorite movie. (Bet you can't guess what it is. It involves a beast and a pretty girl and a talking tea pot.) Later, she decided that she needed lipstick. Why not? I handed over my tinted Burt's Bees and our diva took over from there.
As you can see from the photo, the feeling of lipstick was new to her and she made sure that it wasn't touching her teeth. She did a great job with the application. I've done worse -- usually at around 2 a.m. but that doesn't really matter. Here's a closer look:
And yes, that IS glitter all over her face. Should be a fun Halloween!
